A special edition re-release single of The Stooges classic "I Wanna Be Your Dog", available on March 26th, will feature 6 live renditions, including what UnCut calls "a fantastic rapping attempt by Iggy Pop". The release also includes a solo acoustic performance from the Barcelona TV show Sputnik (call your local cable operator) from 1993 alongside versions from 1977, 2000 and 2004. This promises to get your hopes up before having them crushed like so many shards of glass on a stage and then used as weapons of laceration on the metaphorical chest of Iggy's legacy when the first new Stooges album since '73 drops in March.
