Following Background Check And Five Day Waiting Period, Epitaph Signs Cadence Weapon

Canada's Cadence Weapon, featuring former PitchforkMedia writer Rollie Pemberton, has signed on with Epitaph "for releasing my records in the states. First album comes out march 13 and the next one later this year" Get excited, this dude is, as they say in the biz, super-dope. Those of you lucky enough to be attending SXSW in Austin should be sure to attend his show on Thursday, March 15. According to Rollie, he also may be playing "other cooler ones that ain't confirmed yet." In other words, keep those peepers peeped.

Cadence Weapon has also released a video for the track "Sharks" from his latest, Cadence Weapon Is The Black Hand,
"produced by Spy Films and co-directed by stars Chris Grismer (Arcade Fire, Death From Above, Metric) and Duane Crichton (Jelleestone, In Essence, Pocket Dwellers), which was added this week into “UNCHARTED: BUZZIEST VIDEO” at Muchmusic, “BUZZCLIP” at Musiqueplus and heavy rotation at MuchVibe, with the single heading to radio airwaves following shortly hereafter." All that being said, it's also one of the best videos we've seen in a dawg's age. Bet you'd like to see it. You know MonsterBlood's got you covered!

Oh, by the way, here are some tracks for ya:
